The incubator programme will provide support and access to an entrepreneurial workspace at CREW to help develop game developers’ portfolios, assist in the production of Irish IP (Intellectual Property), and support the establishment of new Games Studios in Galway.

Adam Englishby: ‘Project Raindrop’
Adam Englishby will be working on Project Raindrop, an impactful narrative-driven adventure RPG punctuated by snappy turn-based combat, potion-brewing mechanics & endearing pixel art. It features a story which highlights themes of societal division, queerness & friendship through sorcery & alchemy. The player, a trainee alchemist, befriends an ensemble of characters & seeks to protect a young raindrop.
Brendan Hewson: ‘Shanscale’
Brendan Hewson will be working on Shanscale, an open-world, first-person, hunting horror game inspired by Irish Mythology, atmospheric retro games & themes of Irish identity. The game follows the events leading up to the hunting of the sea-serpent, Caoránach, from the perspective of Irish pagan mythology and Christian folklore. Assume the role of the legendary Fionn McCumhaill as you explore the wilds of Ireland.
Daniel Reilly (ReillyCorp Games): ‘Balloon, Rock, Rope & I’
Daniel Reilly will be working on Balloon, Rock, Rope, and I, a narrative based puzzle platformer with a heartfelt story about the lengths someone will go to in order to be there for a loved one in their time of need.
Ian Duggan: ‘Cosmos’
Ian Duggan will be working on Cosmos (working title), a 2D space shooter where you play as the captain of a ship who will explore the galaxy in search of adventure, materials, loot, potential allies and enemies.
Jade Wren Folan: ‘Project Raindrop’

Kieran Murphy will be working on Wings of Balance, an episodic fantasy action-adventure delving into a world inspired by the tales and legends of Irish mythology. With a focus on narrative the player will dive into a dynamic and immersive story, continuing through a series of chapters. Uncovering the origins of a dark power and learning the language and powers of the locals you aid along the way.
Richard Naughton: ‘Those Folks At The Top’
Richard Naughton will be working on Those Folks At The Top, a reader-driven story with branching paths in a physical book format. It follows two brothers and explores themes around growing up. It has several interactive features, including one that tracks your choices that have long-term impacts on the story.
Sam Fitzgerald: ‘No Coffee on Mars’
Sam Fitzgerald will be working on No Coffee on Mars, a wacky, comedic, free-roaming simulation game where players take on the role of a coffee delivery driver who must travel the vast landscape of Mars. The game involves delivering coffee to a wide range of weird and quirky characters, blending the chaotic fun of Simpsons: Hit & Run with the fast-paced excitement of Mario Kart.
William Hulshof: ‘Chaos Riders’
William Hulshof will be working on Chaos Riders (working title). Set in a desert dystopian world, Chaos Riders is a Racer Shooter, where ‘Driver and Gunner pairs’ must compete in perilous, adrenaline-fueled races, in order to win.
