As a strategic initiative funded by Creative Ireland, Eirmersive supports the Digital Creative Industries Roadmap 2024-2026, fostering growth and international opportunities for Irish immersive companies. The showcase featured several pioneering member companies demonstrating world-class work across marketing, entertainment, education, tourism, healthcare and beyond, captivating SXSW attendees with groundbreaking projects.
The showcase took place on the Opening Night of Ireland House, Sunday, March 9, 2025, under the theme ‘Where Innovation + Imagination Collide.’ Over 200 attendees, including members of the Irish-American business community and creative professionals from around the world, gathered to celebrate Irish creativity and its influence in immersive storytelling, screen industries, and extended realities.

- Glasseye – Janet Beck showcased large-scale immersive projects, including The Summer Palace for the UK’s No. 1 attraction, Outernet London, highlighting Glasseye’s expertise in immersive marketing and entertainment.
- Volograms – Rafael Pagés presented AI-powered volumetric holograms used across industries from fashion to tourism, along with Vologram Messages, their WebAR platform for immersive communication, education, marketing, and telepresence.
- Imvizar – Michael Guerin introduced Lureo, a no-code platform for location-based spatial storytelling. With over 100 experiences launched in 11 countries, Imvizar is redefining immersive narratives. He also demonstrated Monto AR – An Immersive Journey Through Dublin’s Hidden Past.
- Adaptas – Dr. Celine Mullins presented cutting-edge immersive video and VR projects designed to enhance soft skills and mental resilience. Attendees got an exclusive sneak peek at The Courage Box, their latest work-in-progress.
- The Performance Corporation – Jo Mangan explored the intersection of arts and technology, presenting a diverse portfolio of XR storytelling and theatre experiments, including XR operas and remote VR theatre.
