The Wise Wool Project is a Creative Communities project was started in the Spring of 2024 and is continuing the work into 2025. The mission has been to raise awareness through the arts, of how the valuable resource of Irish wool is currently going to waste. 

We want the public to visually understand the steps involved in processing wool and the options currently available. We also understand that social media is where people are being educated on the matter, so our movie will break down into digestible reels available for online content.

A variety of wet felting and needle felting workshops will take place across Kerry at festivals and other events through the year.
