Wild Atlantic Words is a festival that celebrates the literary heritage of Mayo's rugged coastline over a weekend of readings, recitals, debates and reflection, while also acknowledging our new and emerging writers.

It will be the only literary festival that will be run "live" in the west of Ireland in 2021. It will aim to attract a selection of writers and speakers that reflect the personality of the Mayo coast in the "shoulder" month of October in a year when cultural activity is at a minimum.
