This project is a celebration of  Waterford and Newfoundland ‘s seafaring heritage  through a  seminar on Waterford  and Newfoundland  -Connecting our  Built, Cultural and Landscape Heritage  followed by choral performance from St Teresa’s Choir, Newfoundland  and Waterford’s St. Joseph-Benildus Choir in City Hall on October 11th 2025. The seminar will include talks on ; The Waterford- Newfoundland Connection, Connecting  our economic and social history, Connected by Water, Song and Time – Shared Songs in the North Atlantic and Reflections on a Landscape.  A photo exhibition  marking the 20th anniversary of the 2005 Waterford Tall Ships  event will  be launched  at the seminar on the occasion of the Newfoundlanders’ visit to Waterford. The choir will also visit a local school in Waterford.
