A Mural which will depict a Community of Swimmers, Creativity, the Landscape of the sea and coast and which will highlight the diversity of people that value the wonderful Community Facility which is Trá na Mná, Ladies Beach in Salthill, Galway.

The Mural will be a collaboration between Arts Alive Galway and Galway Artist, Jennifer Cunningham. The project will invite ideas in the planning of the mural from local Salthill communities groups; the swimmers of Trá na Mná, residents of Eglington House, Ability West, The Simon Community and members from Salthill Village.

The mural will be a unique design which will be created as a legacy to the love of swimming throughout the years in Galway Bay.

The 9 artists with disabilities in Arts Alive Galway will receive workshops from lead artist Jennifer Cunningham and will also encourage members from local Salthill Community Groups to join them in these workshops in developing the creation of the mural design.
