Tóstal an tSean Thoir (Gathering the Ancient East), our annual cultural festival, includes live performances, workshops, summer camps, cultural exchanges, pub sessions and more!
In 2023, we have an amazing series of live concerts planned. They will take place on Monday evenings throughout the summer of 2023, beginning in July and running through to August. The concerts will be held at the Brú na Sí Cultural Centre, a spacious and welcoming venue that is well-known for hosting cultural events. Tóstal an tSean Thoir 2023 is part of our year- long celebration of 40 years of Youghal Comhaltas.
Each week, a different group of talented musicians will take to the stage at Brú na Sí to perform a mix of traditional Irish tunes and new music inspired by the Irish tradition. The line-up will feature both local artists and internationally renowned musicians, ensuring a diverse and exciting range of performances throughout the summer. They will also be joined by our very own Ceolta Sí performing groups and perhaps other special guests on the night.
