The Spin at Dublin Fringe Festival 2021
'The Spin' is the debut play of Eimear Reilly, written for two actors. The narrative centres around a woman Jo, who recounts memories and past experiences to a man, in an attempt to piece together her life and understand herself better. The man inhabits all of the other characters with Jo, exploring why she has such a fractured sense of self. The play will be directed by Pat Kiernan, Artistic Directory of Corcadorca, Bláithín Mac Gabhann will play Jo and Dominic MacHale will play the man.
The Spin will be performed over the course of two weeks at Dublin Fringe Festival in September 2021. It will be produced by Maura O'Keeffe of Once Off Productions. This project will be launching a new Longford playwright on a national platform.
