The proposed initiative is for a 10-part radio series will be broadcast on KCLR to showcase creative collaborations between Kilkenny County Council Heritage Office and local communities around the county. It will explore the intersections between art and heritage through looking at creative approaches to heritage and creating a forum to discussion on the value creative practice brings to heritage interpretation and presentation.

The format of the programme will include ‘Deep Dives’ into various topics which will include site visits and interview with practitioners; historians; heritage professionals; communities; ‘Little Histories’ engaging children in history such as ‘what type of music do you think people in Kilkenny were listening to in 1923?’; ‘Spotlights’ honing in on a different parish in the county each week.
