The Hill @Halloween
A collaborative performance will happen at the bandstand in Ballybricken on Hallowe’en night at 8pm. At the time of writing, this performance is still being created and will remain a surprise until the showcase. What we can reveal is that there will be dance, music, lights, visuals and costumes that will stun you, and that this is an extremely ambitious piece of work.
This showcase won’t involve individual acts taking to the stage one by one to perform a set. This is a collaborative piece that many familiar faces and many new faces are working on together.
Jack Cunningham productions are currently working with the students of The Mercy Secondary School to create spine-tingling choreography and movement. Lorcan Reidy is also working with the same school to train up some brand new drummers to accompany him on a haunting beat.
Mount Sion Secondary School, already renowned for their musical prowess, have something very special in the works.
Barrack Street Concert Band and City of Waterford Brass are hard at work learning original music composed specifically for this event by Damian Tubritt.
EveryEvent are working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that this showcase is of a world class standard. We don’t even need to go into Spraoi’s magical touch, but rest assured their fingerprints are all over this one.
