On Saturday 13th of November, as part of the lead up to Danesfort GAA Club's Centenary Celebrations in 2022, a short drama piece will be broadcast on Community Radio Kilkenny City (CRKC). This piece will focus on one of the many stories of Danesfort’s 100-year history bringing it to life on radio and sharing it across Kilkenny. This will be devised, created and acted out by members of the Danesfort community drawing professional support from script-writer and designer Áine O'Hara, experienced director Janice de Bróithe, choreographer Cindy Cummings and creative producer Orlaith Treacy.

Danesfort community members will be auditioned to act out this piece and there will be a call out to the local community on Danesfort GAA club’s social media asking them to audition. The auditions will take place either in person or on Zoom depending on Covid-19 restrictions.
