The Edna O'Brien Annual Award for Creative Writing celebrates new and emerging writers in Scariff Community College. 

Students are asked to write a creative response to the above quotation. It can be in any format - poetry, short story, drama or monologue.  

The winner will have their name engraved on the specially commissioned award that will be displayed at the school. This award will continue with a new competition each academic year.
