The Dublin Song will develop and expand on the work of The Standing Still Project, which was piloted in April 2021. Delivering a blended programme, through centres of religious practice across South Dublin, participants, performers, and guest artists will come together to create an iconic presentation of song and music.

This project will culminate in December 2021 and will work with musicians from traditional, classical and world music cultural backgrounds as well as engaging with older people in communities of diversity. The material collected will also form the basis of an intergenerational song project with eight schools in Lucan. It is produced by Artscope working with the Lucan Creative Collection.
