Fourteen people from the small village of Addergoole, in Mayo perished in the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. To help remember the Addergoole 14, the Addergoole Titancic Society published  a book “The Addergoole Titanic Story” to inform people of our unique local heritage in 2010. The book proved to be very popular, which resulted in a second print in 2012. Both are now out of print. In recent years there has been an increasing demand for the book from individuals,  groups visiting and schools. The Addergoole Titancic Society propose to reprint the book to share the unique historical story of their area and their links to the Titanic tragedy.
