Taste the Pure Drop comprises seven thirty minute radio programmes and an hour long documentary film that will showcase the importance of the River Shannon from a cultural, economic and an environmental perspective. Guests who have confirmed to travel part of the journey with presenter, Anna Kavanagh, include Kevin Boxer Moran, Minister of State for the Office of Public Works and Flood Relief; Dr. Ina Kelly, consultant in Public Health Medicine, HSE Midlands; and Fr. Sean McDonagh, an advisor to Pope Francis on preparing his encyclical, Laudato Si-On care for our common home.
The radio programmes will be broadcast during 2019 on Athlone Community Radio.
