As part of the Galway County Summer Stars Programme, Gareth Chapman will read from his book ‘Albert the Dragon’. 

Gareth is a New Zealander living in South Galway, this is his first book. It is suitable for children aged 6-8. This will be augmented by a workshop with the book’s illustrator Andrea Rossi. 

Gareth wrote this book for his daughter and feels very passionate about it.  

The illustrator, Andrea Rossi, has a studio in Spiddal Craft Village. She has experience of running workshops for children.

This event is organised for a class from a local school to attend and is not open to the general public.
