Sparks Festival is aimed at young people aged from 8-18yrs.  Creative Ireland funds the professional facilitation of Filmmaking and Animation workshops in various secondary and national schools in East Clare. This is followed by a week of workshops in Scariff library, culminating in a screening event for all the films and animations made. Workshops are tailored to suit different age groups and themed around different techniques of animation and filmmaking, including stop motion, 3D, 2D, pixilation, special FX sound recording, filmmaking and special effects.
