The intention of this project is to develop a short narrated video telling the story of Colmcille’s association with Sligo, specifically the Battle of the Books, and the influence of the landscape and Drumcliffe upon the Sligo story.

As part of the Sligo Colmcille 2021 programme, the video will be included on the Colmcille website and shared with programme partners. This project is being facilitated by the North Sligo group, Rathcormac Tidy Towns.
