Shift Cltr: Exploring Community and Culture Through the Lives of Clonmel’s Shift Workers
Shift Cltr is a community art and research initiative exploring the lives of shift workers in Clonmel. Led by Philip Ryan of Nocht Studio, the project investigates how shift work affects community engagement, social cohesion, and cultural participation.
Taking place from March 2025 to October 2026, the initiative includes both online and in-person surveys, interviews, and community workshops involving participants from manufacturing, healthcare, and retail sectors who will contribute their experiences to shape artistic outcomes.
The project features collaborations with national and local historians focusing on public engagement events and creative outputs that will amplify shift workers' voices while also exploring opportunities to investigate and reflect on the interdependencies of social cohesion, wellbeing, and economic prosperity.
Participation details and project updates can be accessed via the Nocht Studio website and social media channels.
