Sensory Pottery Garden
Sensory Pottery Garden is a collaboration between Louth Artist Roisin Gregory and the children from Drogheda ABACAS Special School for Children with Autism. Taking place outdoors in the Sensory Garden the children will explore clay and other materials and a variety of techniques to create items which can be hung or placed in the sensory garden to enhance the overall sensory garden experience.
It is an opportunity for the children to interact with very tactile, sensory materials. They will be able to develop their own creativity. The sensory and tactile aspects of this creative project will ensure that all the children no matter what their support needs can be included and involved in a creative project and their creative potential will be encouraged and developed.
