Samba Stew - A Community Samba Band for all.

Samba Stew brings people together through music in a fun, creative way. Accessible & inclusive, drummers are encouraged to play uplifting, energetic music which is sure to get toes tapping.

The group began in 2023 with the aim of making music and bringing people together. They have performed at St Patrick’s Day and Mullingar Pride Festival and are excited to continue connecting with the wider community in 2024.

This year, Samba Stew are developing and launching their Youth Programme through school workshops, as well aiming to engage with older community members in care settings. Samba Stew has connections with the local refugee & asylum seeker communities in Mullingar and is looking forward to continuing to build these relationships.

Samba Stew is open to everyone. They meet every Tuesday at 7pm in the YoYo Café in Mullingar Barracks, so come along to learn a new skill. Keep an eye on their Instagram for more information on how to get involved, and where you can see them perform.
