Rubbish Film Festival – County Clare

The Rubbish Film Festival is a digital arts education programme that aims to inspire students' creativity and environmental consciousness.

Designed for Transition Year Students, it will provide students in five secondary schools in County Clare a chance to share their artistic abilities, raise awareness of environmental issues like climate action, and pick up some new digital storytelling techniques.

Students will receive training and support in key Next Generation Skills and create short films that highlight the global issue of waste and pollution and their impact on the planet. The workshop includes training in elements of design and each school team will also create a poster for their film that they will then present along with their film to a panel of judges.
