Read, Play, and Create! - Ballinasloe
Read, Play and Create! is an exciting and unique collaboration brought to you by the artist and educator Kate Kelly and Galway Public Libraries.
The ‘Read, Play and Create’ programme is designed to help parents connect with their community, engage with their children, and incorporate bookish play in a creative way. The workshops are targeted at parents and walking toddlers aged between 1 and 5 years, with a focus on the importance of creativity and play in the development of children.
During each session, parents and toddlers engage in new reading and simple sensory art activities, which are not only fun but can also be easily recreated at home. Sensory materials are freshly homemade, taste-safe and made from natural ingredients.
Classes are 45 to 60 minutes long, allowing flexibility for parents to arrive or leave according to their child's routine.
These sessions will take place in Ballinasloe Library at 10:30am on September 18th and 25th, and October 9th and 16th
Workshop sizes are capped at 12 adults; 12 children. For bookings please contact the library directly at ballinasloe@galwaylibrary.ie
