Cork County Council’s Culture Team has been operating the Creative Ireland County Cork Pop-up Shop Scheme since 2018 with thanks to Creative Ireland.

The Pop-up Shop Scheme, which is a specific action of the Cork County Culture and Creativity Strategy (under Priority 1: Enhancing and Investing in our Local Cultural and Creative Infrastructure), recognises the importance of the community sector to the county’s very culture and well-being and aims to support people in their local community. The Scheme, which is supported by the Creative Ireland Programme is geared at promoting a wide range of activities and is also intended to support a number of festival events throughout the County.
