Old Road Radio is an annual community broadcast recorded and produced by Niamh O Brien.

Tune in New Years Day 2025 to hear brand new interviews with the locals of Kildimo-Pallaskenry, and new collaborations with local musicians. All collaborations, recordings etc. will take place in the latter half of 2024.

Listeners worldwide can tune in live to hear audio interviews, music and field recordings all recorded in the parish of Kildimo-Pallaskenry. Through the broadcast listeners connect with place and the voices, sounds and music of the locality.

Old Road Radio (ORR) is an online broadcast recorded and produced for the past two years. The first broadcast, took place on New Year’s Day 2023. The research involved creating sonic representations of Kildimo-Pallaskenry. The broadcast included audio interviews with locals, field recordings from the local environment, recordings of local musicians and my own original music. On New Year’s Day 2024 Niamh O'Brien produced the second edition of ORR.
