Creation of an Art Trail to celebrate Creative Rural Communities.

Celebrating Creative Rural Communities, Newbridge Tidy Towns in collaboration with The Artfarm Collective artists Sheila Flanagan, Niamh McAuliffe and Derek Duffy are creating an Art Trail for our village. Situating art where people congregate and pass on a daily basis. The artists will be given a brief with the theme of environment and climate action and asked to respond to place using where possible natural/recycled materials sourced locally and create free standing Sculptural artworks with a minimal carbon footprint to be placed at particular locations in the village. This a collaborative project between professional artists and local community groups.
