For Tribes Youth Festival 2022 we will provide a high-profile platform for young people aged 14–22 to express their aspirations for the future of Galway’s built environment and create a bold manifesto outlining their ambitions for their City.

We will explore what ‘belonging’ in Galway means to us, and asks young people how their built environment could be improved and empower them to bring that vision to life. The manifesto created will be presented to Galway’s city councillors and key decision- makers in the public and private sectors. It will enable young people to directly influence those responsible for shaping the city.In the process Design Lab creatives will work with the young people to transform an urban space in Galway, which can be used as a creative making space for them to explore their artistic imagination at this FREE drop- in activity.
