Ceol Connected have been working with Holy Family School, Cootehill, Co. Cavan to facilitate a week-long artist residency incorporating multisensory workshops and performances.  Artists Thomas Johnston and Orla Kelly, while drawing on an ocean theme, have designed a series of workshops which sensitively respond to the particular needs of each child.  Multi- sensory experiences - sound, smell, touch, taste, and movement – have been embedded throughout each workshop, and children are encouraged to engage in ways that are meaningful for them.  At the end of the residency, Ceol Connected will perform their multi- sensory show - A Winter Wish - for all those children who have participated in the workshops during the week.
