Mucklagh Melody
Welcome to our 6-week programme which kicks off on Monday, September 9th exploring local history through the joyful medium of song and music! This unique course offers an engaging way to learn about the rich heritage of our community while developing musical skills. Our experienced instructors will guide you through a variety of historical themes, blending education with entertainment in an unforgettable experience.
Some of the Programme highlights are as follows;
Interactive Lessons: Each week, children aged between 5-12 years will explore different aspects of local history, brought to life through music and storytelling
Musical Instruments: The children will have the experience of learning to play traditional instruments, including tin whistles, whackers, chimes, and bells
Creative Expression: The children will have the opportunity to compose their own melodies and songs inspired by historical events .
Community Performance: The programme will conclude with a collaborative performance, showcasing the skills and knowledge gained over the six weeks. Performance date to be finalised.
