The festival event program is part of a broader collaboration supported by industry leaders such as Samsung Electronics, Creative Schools and Creative Ireland, Local Authorities and TransACT Technology Solutions. It emphasizes eco-friendly filmmaking practices by using upcycled Samsung technology provided by the Department of Education, making it a unique and environmentally conscious project. 

Filmmaking Workshops typically culminate in the production of a short documentary or film segments, which are later showcased in a celebratory event. The initiative has been implemented in various schools in counties nationwide and has received strong support from local educational bodies and local authorities, especially Roscommon County Arts Office.
