Mindfulness and Crafting with Irish Hand Weaves
Here at the shop and studio of Irish Hand Weaves, based in Stack, Main Street, Ennistymon, weaver Jean Moran and mindfulness facilitator Tríona Gleeson, will facilitate three consecutive, monthly workshops. These workshops will be combining the handcrafts of drop spindle spinning, hand embroidery with the practice of mindfulness.
If you’d like to learn a new skill, or develop your existing skill of spinning or hand embroidery in a supportive environment. If you’d like to develop, or begin a practice of mindfulness through crafting, which will enhance your creativity and sense of presence, your connection to yourself, your craft and your environment, then you are very welcome to join us in our meditative craft circle!
These workshops will happen for 2 hr once a month, from August to October, enabling participants to connect to the fibres, materials, crafts, heritage and culture within a mindful practice. Enhance your overall sense of wellbeing and presence within this safe and respectful space, and leave with a new or developed hand craft! Please don’t hesitate to contact, if you have any queries. You can book in for an individual workshop!
