Memories Through Music is an uplifting positive project which brings our older aged on a trip down down memory lane through the medium of music. Bringing positivity to people who have suffered the most through Covid this initiative creates new and happy memories for in those living in Fingal Nursing Homes. 

It is proposed that performers will visit nursing homes in Fingal between March and June 2021, each performance will last 2 hours and will include a wide selection of songs from the past and as well as requests and participation from the residents.

This project will support those in the nursing homes as they come out of the most difficult era in their history by bringing the light of music to their lives helping them to feel connected and reawakened through the medium of music.

Performances will be conducted from a canteen/garden/meeting room depending on the restrictions during the coming months that will be strictly adhered to. All interactions between performers and nursing home residents and staff will be governed by Public Health Restrictions applicable at the time.
