Meath County Council Writer-in-Residence
Writer-in-Residence, Nicola Cassidy, is an historical fiction writer. Nicola will focus on researching and writing her fourth novel over the summer months. She has also been granted a week’s residential stay in the Tyrone Guthrie Centre as part of the residency. In the autumn, Nicola will work with book clubs, schools and emerging writers. She will also host a series of workshops on blogging, podcasting and YouTubing. The residency is managed by Meath County Council Library Service.
The residency will run from June to December and is a key element of the 5 year Creative Ireland Culture and Creativity strategy for the county. It is an excellent opportunity for children and adults to work with a writer to develop their creative writing and online skills.
