Meath County Council Community Heritage Grant Scheme is now open for applications.

The aim of the scheme is to support community groups and organisations to undertake projects that will gather information and help to appropriately manage and promote an awareness and appreciation of our heritage.  

Projects which are eligible relate to all aspects of our heritage including monuments, archaeological objects, heritage objects, architectural heritage, flora, fauna, wildlife habitats, landscapes, genealogy, local history, geology, heritage gardens and parks.

Projects relating to local history and traditions, placenames, folklore, traditional crafts and skills and museums and archives are also considered under the scheme.
