I intend on running a course of poetry workshops, specifically for disabled people and those with chronic illnesses.  The workshop will run for 10 sessions and will be held in a building without stairs and masking will be mandatory.  There will be an option to attend sessions online.

While there are a few workshops in operation in Galway, they are often up flights of stairs or held in bars and pubs, which is untenable for those who are consistently masking.

The workshop will be 2 hours' long, with a break in the middle movement.  The first hour will consist of writing prompts and reactive writing to items or suggestions, or simply finishing a piece you have been working on.  The second half of the workshop will be workshopping two individuals' work, as a group.  Two people will be chosen to workshop their pieces in advance each week.
