A series of five free 1-hour talks with a different Irish author in the Shaw Room to take place during lunchtime. Authors to be approached include Donal Ryan, Kathleen Murray, Michael Harding, Sara Baume, Arnold Thomas Fanning, Jack Fennell, Patricia Gibney, Sam Blake and John MacKenna among others. The format would consist of a brief introduction from a member of the library staff then a talk by the author on a pre-agreed topic. The talk would last for 30 to 40 minutes leaving time for a brief Q&A at the end.
