We propose creating a series of 4 engaging social media videos that explore the rich history, culture, and stories surrounding Lough Ree. Located in the heart of Ireland and shared by the counties of Westmeath, Roscommon, and Longford, Lough Ree is a mystical and captivating place that deserves to be celebrated and shared with a wider audience. 

We will be looking to tell the story of how the mighty Shannon allowed access from the earliest times and as each group came through, they left their mark. We also want to talk about the local craft of boat building and finally we want to find and talk to any people who are left today who once lived on the islands.

The videos will be completed by Bailey and Blake Productions who have being delivering stories of Archaeology, History and interesting people and culture for the last decade for both Heritage officers and Universities and Professional groups.
