Lough Boora Sculpture Park
This project features the development of the sculpture park at Lough Boora Discovery Park with Bord na Móna and adjacent communities.
An initiative that began in early 2000 on cut-over bog, Lough Boora Sculpture Park now attracts over 120,000 visitors each year. As the habitat and environment of the Parklands evolve, so to, the sculpture park needs ongoing research, management and investment to ensure its continued significance within the national and international Art in Landscape arena.
Two research projects are ongoing for 2020 including the printing and publication of the commissioned report Deep Mapping: Lough Boora Sculpture Park – Reclaim | Rehabilitate | Restore | Regenerate by Tim Collins and Reiko Goto Collins.
