Listen and Breathe – Ticknock Forest

A new multi-sensorial sound walk about growth and change brings audiences on a journey from Ticknock Forest car park to the Fairy Castle.  This self-guided experience invites audiences to engage and connect with hidden aspects of ecology. 

The core collaborators Hugh Farrell, Tyler Kieffer and Kevin McNamara have created the work through a series of in-depth interviews with the caretakers and communities who engage with our forests.  Guided by these voices and set to a score of local sounds and music, enjoy this mindful walk through one of our treasured forests.  Audiences access the artwork through their own smartphones and headphones and can take part in this experience in their own time.
