As part of Science Week at Laois Libraries 13-20th of November 2023 Laois County Library Service aim to deliver a diverse range of  free high-quality, interesting and engaging Science workshops, shows, and events to children, families across Co. Laois during science week .

With  events from astronomy to forensic science, interactive planetarium Robotics masterclasses and Coding workshops working with local artists and creators the library service are seeking to promote the wonders of science in our everyday lives. The Library service will engage and inspire young children and their carers to engage with Science week  promoting  awareness and understanding of the importance and relevance of STEAM in everyday life
