Leading with Creativity: A Director’s Guide is an immersive 12-week workshop series introducing secondary school students in Westmeath to the vast world of creative careers. From procuct design, media, film to fashion, advertising, graphic design, production, and digital arts, this hands-on program explores the many pathways within the creative industries.  

Designed to foster innovation, leadership, and collaboration, the workshop equips students with essential skills in creative thinking, communication, and project management. Through real-world projects and mentorship from industry professional, students gain firsthand experience in diverse creative fields—developing confidence as they direct projects, design campaigns, produce visual content, and experiment with storytelling and branding.  

By encouraging problem-solving, adaptability, and self-expression, the program helps students explore career opportunities that align with their passions. By the end of the workshop, they will have a professional portfolio, industry exposure, and the skills needed to pursue a future in creative industries—whether in design, marketing, film production or beyond.
