Kaleidoscope: Visual Art Engagement Programme
A creative engagement programme developed to compliment a programme of 5 visual art exhibitions, curated by resident curator Naomi Draper at Roscommon Arts Centre. Over the course of the year, the programme will involve engaging with nursing home residents, baby and toddler groups and the farming community through a series of projects. The programme will also seek to offer opportunities to the general public to participate in 2 projects: weaving workshops and later in the year to share in the practice of artist Ann Henderson both in person and online via a series of engagements.
The final strand of this Creative Ireland programme, will focus on a new series of Family Days, one per exhibition in the gallery space, facilitated by artist Marian Balfe who will host a series of informal talks and hands-on workshops, designed to allow family audiences engage with and respond to each of the 5 shows.
the project "Other Matter" is listed on the website here: https://roscommonartscentre.ie/event/with-other-matter-plant-therapy/
