"Journeying Together: Celebrating Irish Traveller Traditions and Culture" is an immersive project designed to honour and preserve the rich heritage of Irish Traveller traditions and culture. At its heart lies a series of captivating workshops, where storytelling and traditional singing take centre stage. 

Participants embark on a journey through the vibrant tapestry of Irish Traveller folklore, guided by seasoned Irish Traveller storyteller and traditional singer Thomas McCarthy. Each workshop is a voyage into the soul of Irish Traveller culture, offering insights into the oral traditions passed down through generations. These tales and songs not only entertain but also serve as a conduit for preserving and transmitting the collective wisdom, values, and experiences of the Traveller community.   

Ultimately, "Journeying Together" is more than a series of workshops—it's a celebration of diversity, heritage, and the enduring power of storytelling to unite, inspire, and enrich the human experience. Through shared narratives and songs, participants embark on a collective journey of discovery, forging bonds that transcend cultural boundaries and honouring the timeless traditions of the Irish Traveller people.
