Join creative writing tutor and author Breda Shannon for this two-part introductory course in creative writing. 

Breda will introduce students to writing craft, techniques and story devices. Students will develop their skills through group and solitary exercises. This is the perfect introductory course for those interested in creative writing but may not have tried it before. It will help build confidence, kick-start your imagination and use your life experiences to work for your writing.

Techniques introduced in this course will be illustrated by accompanying notes and references to texts from a variety of great writers; classical and contemporary.
