Holly House Community Resource Centre
Holly House is a community resource centre that supports children, young people and families. They do this by providing a range of supports such as Homework Clubs, After School clubs and summer camps for children age 4-12yrs. Holly House support Young People at Risk by providing one to one support to young people age 15 to 25 who are not in Education, Training or Employment. They also provide Personal Development groups for young teens at risk of early school leaving and substance misuse.
Covid 19 has proved challenging for many of the families they support so it’s a fantastic opportunity for them to run 2 winter art programmes through Creative Ireland. Their first programme is aimed at supporting children age 4yrs to 12yrs (split into 3 groups) one of their groups supports children with special needs. Their second group will support a group of young teens (14-15yrs) all identified as at risk and who have a keen interest in street art.
