Group 8 is a professional artists’ collective based in Ballinasloe, County Galway who came together in August 2009. They are united in the belief that art worthy of exposure can express the vitality of a community, foster awareness, imagination and co-operative learning between the artist and their community.

Group 8 will facilitate a series of workshops across various artforms for people in their community.  Examples of the types of art workshops include:

• Creative Writing
• Acrylic Painting
• Printing
• Journalling
• Sculpture
• Ceramics
