Galway Dance Project is delighted to be working with Tribes Youth Arts Festival this year on a series of dance workshops for young people, funded by Creative Ireland Programme 2022, Galway City Council, Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media

These workshops are designed for young people aged 14-18 and are free of charge, but booking is required. No formal dance training is necessary, but participants should have some dance or movement experience or be comfortable with movement. We are particularly interested in offering these workshops to young people who may experience financial barriers to accessing dance training. We have a number of travel stipends available which can go towards the cost for young people to travel to Galway city to take part in the workshops. Lunch is also provided after each workshop along with the opportunity to talk to the workshop facilitators.
