The Meath County Council Gaeltacht Scholarship scheme opens on January 14th 2025. 

This scheme will assist in funding a students attendance on a residential only Gaeltacht course during the summer of 2025. Twenty-four Máire Nic Shiubhlaigh grants of €150 each will be made available to students attending second level schools in the county. 

Eight Mother Columba Gibbons grants and 6 Máire Ní Raghallaigh grants of €300 each will be made available to students attending DEIS second-level schools. 

The grants will be recoupable against fees paid at recognised residential Irish colleges during the summer of 2025.

Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 14th February 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
