Ennistymon Sensory Garden
The project entails the creation of a sensory garden in the currently unused garden space attached to Ennistymon Library.
It will involve the installation of a new ramp from the library into the space. The garden will have wheelchair accessible pathways, raised beds incorporating sensory planting, benches allowing for book club meetings and story times and other sensory features.
The garden will be used by all members of the community as a reflective, relaxing communal space with all aspects of the design allowing for full participation and enjoyment of the space by those with mobility and sensory issues.
