Ennis International Fantastic Filmfest (EIFF)  will take place from Friday 28 October to Sunday 30 October 2022. It is the FIRST film festival in the ‘Fantastic’ genre in Ireland and will consist of a three full days of screenings and events for fans of horror, fantasy and sci-fi movies. 

Brought to you by Ennis Chamber, the festival will deliver a packed schedule of events for the film community, industry professionals, families and movie fans. 

Highlights include: 

The premiere screening of York Witches Society (2022),  directed by Liza Bolton. Director Liza Bolton is a native of Galway, now based in the UK. Join Liza for a pre-screening Q & A session. Liza will also participate in a panel discussion on Saturday October 29.   

A programme of  international and Irish feature films and short film screenings based on an open call for submissions.   

A 20th anniversary screening of Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later.

A family screening of The Princess Bride. 

A selection of panel discussions featuring international and Irish industry leaders.

Workshops with industry professionals in screen writing, makeup and prosthetics. 

An awards ceremony will close the festival.
